Here are just a few of my favourite sites for uplifting words of wisdom on the use of narrative in education, personal and cultural development. ABRACADIA aims to transform reality using language, and to show others how to do the same. All the sites listed here contain valuable contributions to this end, which is the practice of being free and the purpose and definition of being human.

Freire’s work is the main educational inspiration behind Abracadia. The official website of the Paulo Freire institute at the University of California, Los Angeles, gives a good insight to some of the cultural action education programmes inspired by Freire. Other Freire institutes are in Sweden, Finland, Israel, Spain, Germany, Korea, Brazil and several other US universities. The man was a true giant. Check him out.
